WinThe crowd is backing the Rangers while completely ignoring that Igor Shesterkin is out for the SEASON and Joonas Korpisalo is also on IR β New York is trotting out a backup goalie into a hostile barn in New Jersey. The Devils may be sitting at 2-3, but backing a goalie-depleted Rangers squad at -218 juice on a road puck-and-a-half is exactly the kind of sucker play the public loves to make. Give me the Devils -1.5 at a juicy +180, punish the Rangers' netminding crisis, and laugh all the way to the window.

LossThe sheep are blindly backing the Brewers and their -1.5 run line insurance, but Milwaukee is limping into Dodger Stadium with Brandon Woodruff and Quinn Priester both buried on the 60-Day IL, gutting their rotation depth. The Dodgers have Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman at home, and fading a banged-up Brewers squad at Chavez Ravine is the easiest fade of the week. The crowd is paying -154 for a team that can't even field a healthy pitching staff β I'll gladly take the Dodgers at +128 to cover the -1.5.

The crowd is paying -245 juice to fade a crippled road team on zero rest, while Columbus at +200 is sitting fresh at home β I'll take the value and laugh all the way to the window.

Fading the crowd at +220 value on Minnesota to win by 2+ is exactly the kind of line the public is handing us while sleepwalking into a Golden Knights trap.
